Many hands make light work!  ACS loves their volunteers.  Our new campus would not have been possible without the volunteers who contributed many hours and energy to finishing the school.  Volunteers have precious value at ACS and we appreciate their time.  Volunteering on campus with projects, inside the classrooms, or at events are always needed.

We currently need volunteers to help with:

  • Library indexing and inventory
  • Establishing garden
  • Electrical work on water heater and exterior lighting
  • Fabricating and installation of gates
  • Music program
  • Art class
  • Running club
  • Organizing storage area

If you would like to help with any of the above projects, please contact Gabby at 432-837-5757.

Steve Rouke and Lisa Goynes volunteered their time in August to install doors and trim in the Administration Building and Library.  Steve and Lisa have also donated silent auction items to our Desert Christmas Jubilee and supported our outreach programs.

Dwain Tarango painted the interior of our McCoy Administration Building and polyurethaned the shelves in the Library during the summer of 2018 to prepare for the first day of school.  Dwain is also a member of the American Legion in Alpine who sponsored our Memorial Square in front of the McCoy Administration Building.
