ACS Garden
Jeff and Stephanie Haynes donated over 21 acres to Alpine Christian School for a new campus in 2016. Included in that blessing was a fenced, one acre section with access to a water well - ready for planting. As ACS settled into their new campus through 2018 and 2019, many projects held priority. Now marks a new school year and our students are ready to tackle planting and learning about crops. If you are interested in donating your time or resources to helping our students this summer or throughout the school year, we would love your contribution. The plan is to have a row of fruit trees, including peach, apple, and plum, and a small orchard of pecan trees. Additionally, we have plans for raised beds for vegetables and herbs. With this opportunity, students will also learn the economics of farming and selling their products at the local farmer's market. We receive any donation with accepting hearts, such as financial contributions, labor, plants, or trees.
Trees are being planted now and are ready to be sponsored. You can purchase a tree in honor of or in memory of a loved one while supporting your favorite Classical Christian school. Stay tuned for updates on our Facebook page or "Praises and Honor" page.
Alpine Christian School received the Ardmore Institute of Health grant in 2022 that allowed for the purchase of a tractor. We can now maintain the garden, walking path, and abundance of grass on the 21 acre campus. We look forward to many years of planting and
